The Office of the Provost is conducting a five-year review of Eric Wilcots, Dean of the College of Letters & Science. This review is a normal part of our evaluation and support procedures. As part of this review, the provost has appointed Dr. Charles Read, Dean Emeritus of the School of Education, to chair a committee to gather feedback from faculty, staff, and partners of the college.
Survey
The UW Survey Center will be distributing a survey via email to the College of Letters & Science’s faculty, staff, and select partners. The confidential survey is your chance to provide feedback about the dean’s leadership across multiple areas of the college. We anticipate the survey being emailed to you starting Wednesday, March 5, 2025. If you would like to complete the survey but haven’t received a link by March 12, 2025, please fill out a brief form to request a link.
Individual Conversation
Instead of completing the survey, you may provide your feedback by meeting virtually or in person with two members of the review committee. To request a confidential interview, please fill out a brief form by March 14, 2025. A committee member will be in touch to schedule the interview.
