Reilly Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Grant proposals – Due Nov. 12

The Office of the Provost invites proposals from faculty, staff, and students for the 2019 Ira and Ineva Reilly Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Endowment grant competition. All proposals are due by November 12, 2018.

The endowment helps foster the Wisconsin Idea—the principle that the knowledge, ideas, and solutions generated at UW–Madison should benefit the people of Wisconsin, the nation, and the world. Proposals are encouraged for new outreach and public engagement activities that partner with community and off-campus organizations to extend and apply our research, education, and clinical knowledge to help solve problems or take advantage of opportunities to enhance lives.

The endowment supports seed project grants of $4,000 or less, and larger project grants of up to $120,000. For detailed application guidance, visit the Baldwin website

New this year: Several Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Endowment information sessions have been scheduled for early October. See the Baldwin website for details. The website also provides summaries of previously awarded projects.
