Areas of Responsibility

As chief of staff, Inoway-Ronnie is responsible for managing the flow of work requiring either short-term responses or anticipatory preparations in the Office of the Provost. She serves as a primary liaison and point of contact resource for the Office of the Provost with the offices of the chancellor and vice chancellors, as well as the deans, directors and shared governance bodies. Inoway-Ronnie manages faculty and academic staff grievance and appeal procedures that come before the provost. On behalf of the provost, she  also coordinates the Deans Council and Provost’s Executive Group, and chairs or serves as a representative on several campus-wide committees. She has experience with institutional accreditation, student outcomes assessment, student transfer initiatives, and diversity programs and services. Inoway-Ronnie manages several grant processes, including the Brittingham Fund and Evjue Foundation grants to UW-Madison.

Biography

Inoway-Ronnie received her BA degree from Carleton College, and both MA and PhD degrees in Educational Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
