Note: All sabbatical proposals and abstracts must specifically explain how your teaching will be enhanced during this time. The abstract of your proposal is limited to 50 words.

Winners of the Faculty Development Grants and Faculty Sabbatical Leaves must submit a summary report of their activity within three months after they have returned. (Note: Fall sabbatical reports are due March 31; Spring and Academic Year sabbatical reports are due August 31.)

* Grants are for untenured faculty members.

** To be eligible, a faculty member must have completed six or more years of full-time UW System instructional service, or the equivalent, at the University of Wisconsin (excluding leaves of absence, regardless of funding sources), and not have taken a sabbatical in the UW System during those six years.
